Town of Pukwana —
Resident addresses board on sewer line project
By Bonnie Luurs
The regular meeting of the Pukwana Town Board was held Monday, April 6, at the community center in Pukwana.
Joe Priebe was present during the public input portion of the meeting. He relayed, “I know digging in sewer lines is a mess and at the end of the day, it’s a mess but to leave pipe laying across my driveway so I can’t get in the garage ‘pissed’ me off. They know when they’re quitting. They know when quitting time is. They laid the pipe out, they can move it. I moved it. Luckily I was nice with it – but, now if my wife had still been alive and she would have had to leave, she couldn’t have, any way shape or form.
And there are other people in this town that are handicapped. If you are going to block them in, I don’t think you should do that, boys.”
Chairman Larry McManus responded, “They should leave an opening between. I will talk to them tomorrow.”
