A public hearing on a preliminary plat and discussion on closing off park equipment headlined the agenda of the Town of Oacoma when the board of trustees met Monday, April 20, in Meeting Room #1 of the community center in Oacoma.
A public hearing to consider a preliminary plat of Lots 1 through 11 of Whitlow Addition and Wilderness Cove Drive was held.
Wade Greenwood and Zack Flood, developers of the property, were present to answer questions and offer comments.
“Originally, we had just intended to build houses for ourselves,” stated Greenwood, “but this was such a large piece of property that we decided to just plat it out. The engineers have looked at it. We got all the bids for the road construction, water and electrical.”
