The regular meeting of the Pukwana Town Board was held Monday, Sept. 14, at the community center in Pukwana.
The meeting had been changed due to the Monday, Sept. 7, Labor Day holiday.
The first reading of the 2021 budget was approved. The board was encouraged to “look it over” as it will be finalized at the October meeting. Some items that were included in the budget were $30,000 left to pay on the purchase of the shop; adding $30,000 for the park restroom and concrete, along with finding outside money to help pay for it; chip sealing the north-south streets next summer for approximately $40,000; improvements on the town’s electrical and $25,000 was added for equipment purchases.
