Public meeting focuses on support for locker plant

A public meeting was held Wednesday, June 10, at the Legion in Kimball to see if there would be enough support for the startup of a locker plant in the Kimball area.
Approximately 30 individuals attended the meeting, The event was facilitated by Anita Holan, economic marketing director for Kimball; Paula Jensen of Dakota Resources; Lorre Gaikowski of the Wessington Springs Chamber of Commerce and Theresa Maule-Rossow, state’s attorney for Brule County.
