Members of the Oacoma Town Board awarded a hay lease and conducted a public hearing at their regular meeting on Monday, June 1, in Meeting Room #1 of the community center in Oacoma.
The board opened 2020 hay bids, with two bids submitted. The first bid came from James Harmon in the amount of $854. The second bid was submitted by Bill Burkard in the amount of $1,275. The high bid from Burkard was accepted.
Following the awarding of the hay bid, the board adjourned as the board of trustees and convened as the town board of adjustment.
A public hearing was held for a conditional use permit. The applicants, Tony and Heidi Nogy, applied for the conditional use permit to construct three, 11-unit, 30-by-132-foot storage buildings on Lot 3 of Oacoma Heights Third Addition within the Camp Pleasant Planned Unit Development District. The Oacoma Planning Commission had issued a recommendation for approval at their meeting on May 11.
