Members of the Oacoma Town Board met in Meeting Room #1 at the community center in Oacoma on Monday, July 20, for their regular meeting.
Heidi and Tony Nogy were present when the board conducted the public hearing on an amendment to Oacoma Zoning Ordinance No. 2018-01. The changes to the amendment would allow two interior overhead lights per storage unit and the rental of the storage units would first be offered to campers at the campground, Camp Pleasant Planned Unit Development District and then to the public. The board approved the idea to change it.
The board held a public hearing on alcoholic beverage licenses and approved the transfer of 2020 package (off-sale) liquor license from Sunshine Foods, Oacoma Supermarket, Inc. at Mueller Tract 2 to RF Buche, Buche Foods, Oacoma at Mueller Tract 2. A new 2020-2021 retail (on-off) sale malt beverage and South Dakota farm wine license for RF Buche, Buche Foods, Oacoma at Mueller Tract 2 (grocery store only) was also approved.
