Board considers billboard advertising, appoints member

Members of the Oacoma Town Board discussed billboard advertising and appointed a member to the board when the group met Monday, June 15, in Meeting Room #1 of the community center in Oacoma.
The board reserved time for public comments pursuant to South Dakota Codified Law 1-25-1. Angie Zeman was present to comment on the dog laws in Oacoma; specifically the number of dogs an individual is allowed to own.
“Next to me there is a full apartment with seven dogs,” she stated. “. . . Something has got to be done . . . I think we need to look at the rules on that.”
