Board schedules election, sets employee wages

Members of the Oacoma Town Board met Monday, Jan. 6, in Meeting Room #2 of the community center in Oacoma.
Following the approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, the board moved into regular business beginning by opening the floor to public comment pursuant to South Dakota Codified Law 1-25-1. No comment was given and the board moved to address the next item.
The authorization of the South Dakota State Chapter of Ducks Unlimited was considered for the organization to conduct raffles at Arrowwood Resort at Cedar Shore in Oacoma on Jan. 24-26. Town Board President Gary Dominiack noted this is a regular event and has been approved in past years. A motion to authorize the raffling was approved.
