Board discusses public safety concerns

The board of Lyman County Commissioners met in special session in the conference room of the Lyman County Courthouse in Kennebec on Aug. 17.
State’s Attorney Steve Smith and Chairman Bill Lengkeek were available by telephone.
The board entered executive session to discuss public safety concerns per South Dakota Codified Law 1-25-2(6).
When the board reconvened to open session, Auditor Deb Halverson reported no action was taken.
