Lyman County Commissioners —
Board approves contingency transfers, considers victim witness coordinator position

The board of Lyman County Commissioners met in specialsession in the conference room of the Lyman County Courthouse at Kennebec on Dec. 31.
Laura Alexander met with the commissioners to give an update on the Lyman County 4-H program. She discussed using a nontraditional approach to get more youth involved in 4-H. For 2020, she wants to be more involved with local clubs, start activities in Lower Brule and plans to meet with the commissioners three times a year to provide updates. The commissioners voted to approve
the 2020 Memorandum of Understanding with South Dakota State University of Brookings Extension for her services.
The clerk of courts fees for November showed $4,362.25 less $2,915.34 forwarded to Lyman School District, $4.11 to Chamberlain School District and $15.85 to Winner School District for fine money.
