Members of the Kimball Chamber Chatter held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 17, at Soak ’n Suds in Kimball.
Anita Holan presented her development report, touching on upcoming Empower meetings, listening sessions and the distribution of community surveys outlining the Kimball Community Perception Poll. Approximately 30 people attended a Governor’s Office
of Economic Development meeting at Club Vega recently.
Pastor Derek Runge, in the community relations report, noted the community dinner theatre will be May 1-3 at Club Vega in Kimball. He has contacted area businesses for sponsorships. Chamber President Russ Ehlers inquired as to where the proceeds from the community dinner theatre should go to, including the purchase of playground equipment, renovating a lot on Main Street, youth football league or benches at Native Prairie Garden. Chamber members felt the community dinner theatre participants should decide where the proceeds should go.
