Members of the Kimball Chamber Chatter met at Ditty’s in Kimball on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Treasurer Jesslon Walsh-Wilhoyt provided fund balances for the various departments, including chamber bucks, emergency fund, main checking and savings accounts. Additional bills were presented. A thank you was received from the Pheasants Forever chapter, acknowledging the chamber’s donation to their organization. The treasurer signed the appropriate forms at First Dakota to keep an account from becoming dormant. Reinstatement papers from the South Dakota Secretary of State were received, with the chamber now recognized at the state level.
Anita Holan presented the development report. She informed those present she will try to do an e-mail monthly, listing events happening in the community. Meeting updates, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development information, Empower program, work on setting up housing in Kimball and development of a grant form rounded out her report.
