Board discusses library project, sets election date, surpluses property

Members of the board of education for Kimball School District #7-2 discussed the library project, set the election date and surplussed property when the group met Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Room 119, the science classroom at the school in Kimball.
No conflicts of interest or student achievements were noted.
Under good news, Middle/High School Principal Matt Dykstra talked about the
pre-kindergarten through sixth grade concert, academic achievement honors for the fall sports athletes, wrapping up the first semester of the school year on Dec. 20 and hosting
of an artist in residence who specialized in acrylic painting.
Superintendent/Elementary Principal Dr. Chris Noid reported on the artist in residence as well as a presentation by Tom Roberts.
