Board reviews gravel quotes, ordinances

Members of the Kimball City Council reviewed quotes and ordinances when the group met Monday, March 2, at the finance office in Kimball.
Under approval of the minutes, Mayor Wayne Tupper asked council members to “sunset” or rescind a motion from the Feb. 17 minutes setting the base rate and additional rates for water for the city.
“We made a motion to leave the base pay at $15 and to change the rate to $4.50 per thousand. We are already at that so we basically need a motion to rescind that motion made in February,” said the mayor.
