Department officials present reports

Department officials presented reports when members of the Kimball City Council met Monday, Sept. 7, at the city finance office in Kimball.
Council members discussed the option of having employee paychecks deposited directly into their account. Deputy Finance Officer Nancy Munger stated, “The biggest thing is requiring two people to sign and sometimes that’s a little hard if one of the signors is out of town or busy.”
Council Member Bruce Robison noted, “If the employees still wanted their checks in hand, then they would have to understand their checks could be late if no one is around to sign them.”
