Chamberlain Board of Education —
Board discusses preschool, early childhood work group findings

Members of the board of education for Chamberlain School District #7-1 discussed preschool and early childhood work group findings when the group met Monday, Jan. 13, at the middle/high school library in Chamberlain.
Instructor Valerie Nelson presented findings from the preschool/early childhood work group, stating, “Out of 138 districts, 95 have preschool.”
Superintendent Dr. Debbie Johnson introduced members of the work group. She relayed the purpose of the group was to understand the significance and importance of preschool education, review access to preschool education in the Chamberlain area and “the bottom line for us,” to determine feasibility of a Chamberlain School District preschool program.
