Delegation presents information on honor song

Representatives addressed members of the board of education for Chamberlain School District #7-1 in regards to implementing an honor song when the group met Monday, Feb. 10, at the middle/high school library in Chamberlain.
South Dakota School Board Recognition Week was announced as Feb. 17-21, which coincides with the Associated School Boards of South Dakota Legislative Day on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Superintendent Dr. Debbie Johnson presented each board member with a certificate of recognition and a gift certificate from a local business.
A presentation by members of the Crow Creek Tribal Council, led by Chairman Lester Thompson, Jr., addressed board members in regards to implementing an honor song.
