Resignations and transfers were accepted and a superintendent hired when members of the board of education for Chamberlain School District #7-1 met Monday, Feb. 24, at the middle/high school library in Chamberlain.
Business Manager Michelle Willrodt presented the financial reports of fund balance, Trust and Agency and food service. In discussing the fund balance, Superintendent Dr. Debbie Johnson noted, “The General Fund is supported with impact aid and enterprise funds and when the taxes come in, those are in the General Fund also.”
Board Member Jay Blum asked, under the Trust and Agency report, what the special projects fund entailed, with Business Manager Willrodt stating, “I think it’s the business manager’s discretionary fund but I will check.”
