Board recaps holiday events, plans for annual retreat

A recap of the holiday events and plans for the board’s annual retreat headlined the agenda of the Chamberlain-Oacoma Area Chamber of Commerce bi-monthly meeting held Jan. 9, at the community center in Chamberlain.
Chamber Operations Manager Angi Hanzlik acknowledged former board members, Connie Priebe and Julie Soulek. Patty Johnson was introduced as the new board member to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Lowell Peterson.
Under discussion of the bills, Chamber and Lake Francis Case Executive Director Natalie Muruato stated, “We were a little on the low end this time. The fireworks payment came out of this budget but we will have the membership letters coming up and I am writing some grants.”
