Buffalo County Commissioners —
Board approves gravel bid, discusses personnel handbook, coronavirus

A special meeting of the board of Buffalo County Commissioners was called for Tuesday, March 17, in the courtroom of the Buffalo County Courthouse in Gann Valley.
Commissioners Donita Loudner and Ralph Rank were available telephonically.
Four bids were received for gravel – Morris, Inc. of Pierre, Bob Bak Construction of Pierre, T. F. Luke and Sons of Kimball and JTC/Jeremy Thomas Construction of Chamberlain. The low bid was awarded to Morris, Inc. of Pierre at $3.05 per ton. The bid included crushing and stockpiling of gravel with a completion date of Oct. 23, 2020. Buffalo County will pay the royalty fee of $1.25 a ton.
