Highway Superintendent Ken Wulff and Commission Chairman Lloyd Lutter provided updates on projects when members of the board of Buffalo County Commissioners met Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the courtroom of the Buffalo County Courthouse in Gann Valley.
Highway Superintendent Wulff informed the board mowing for the county will be finished as well as work on approaches and filling in “bad spots.” Gravel hauling has been completed. On one project, the highway department was short three miles of gravel which needed to be applied to a road.
“We went a little heavy with the gravel in some places,” said the highway superintendent. “We will make up the three miles when we get the other gravel in. We have been mowing and we’ve put in a culvert by John Daly’s to alleviate water buildup.”
