Highway superintendent, auditor provide department updates

The board of Buffalo County Commissioners heard from the highway superintendent and auditor in regards to their departments when the group met Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the courtroom of the Lyman County Courthouse in Gann Valley.
Highway Superintendent Ken Wulff informed the board the spraying was completed for the “first go-round. There’s some thistle out there.”
Commissioner Donita Loudner stated she had visited with the Crow Creek Tribal Council and secured a commitment to have two members placed on the weed board, Rich Coleman and Jared Looft of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The commissioners approved the addition of the two new board members.
