Board approves liquor licenses, canvasses election, discusses weeds

Members of the board of Buffalo County Commissioners approved liquor licenses, canvassed primary election results and discussed a weed spraying schedule and applications when the group met Thursday, June 4, at the courtroom of the Buffalo County Courthouse in Gann Valley.
The meeting was moved from Tuesday, June 2, due to the primary election.
Highway Superintendent Kenny Wulff introduced two representatives from Clark Engineering, to discuss roadside signage.
April Buller informed the commission the signage program is 100 percent federally funded. There is no cost to the county for the signs or placement of the signs, including signage along Bureau of Indian Affairs roads in Buffalo County. A copy of the GIS map will be presented to the Buffalo County highway superintendent.
