Residents address concerns with roads, repair plans

Public comments were heard from members of Torrey Lake Township concerning their roads and the plans to fix them when the board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, June 16, in the west community room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
Trent Strand expressed concern over their roads and inquired about the plan to fix them, citing the “bad holes” causing problems with vehicles.
Chairman James Nesladek said the highway superintendent and his crew are getting to them as they can get to them. They are concentrating on the worst parts first.
