Gillen presents update on bridge inspections, state auditor reviews findings

The board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the west community room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
A period of public comment was held, with none being heard.
Ron Gillen of Brosz Engineering provided an update on the findings, upon completion of bridge inspections for the county. The Department of Transportation requires the engineering firm to report to the county commissioners instead of submitting a report and then meeting with the county superintendents as they have done in the past.
