Members of the board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the west community room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
A period of public comment was held, with none taken.
Deputy Highway Superintendent Jennifer Konechne was in attendance. She reported the 1997 Peterbilt truck the county is asking to purchase is “pretty clean.” It has 300,000 miles on the overhaul. This will replace the 2007 IH 7000 truck. Board members approved the purchase of a 1997 Peterbilt truck for $28,500.
