Highway superintendent addresses budget, road issues, Huffs talk railroad

Members of the board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 5, in the west community room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
The floor was open to public comment, of which none was heard.
Highway Superintendent Mike Schlaffman reported their contracted out portion of the budget is at 216 percent of what was budgeted and they still have to do two big culvert replacements.
