Brule County Commissioners —
Board handles first of year business, announces appointments, salaries

County Auditor Pam Petrak opened the first meeting of the new year for the Brule County Commission on Tuesday, Jan. 7, in the commissioners’ room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
Board members signed their oaths of office.
County Auditor Petrak called for nominations for board chairman. James Nesladek was nominated to retain his position.
