County officials address issues

The board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 19, in the west community room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
Vice-Chairman Brad Carson was present telephonically.
A period of public comment was reserved, with none being heard.
Highway Superintendent Mike Schlaffman addressed buying gravel from the Crow Creek pit. If they put 5,000 ton up of crushed gravel at $7.25 per ton, it will cost around $37,500. The highway superintendent was instructed to have them put up as much as they can without going over $50,000.
