The quarterly meeting of the 911 Advisory Board was Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the commissioners’ room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
911 Co-Coordinator Katheryn Benton said they are still waiting for a bid on generators that activate on their own. She had a meeting scheduled with PowerCom later that afternoon to look and see how much two generators for Chamberlain and Kimball would cost. She will e-mail the board the prices when she gets them. 911 Co-Coordinator Pam Petrak said the 911 state board agreed the generators can be paid for with 911 funds.
911 Co-Coordinator Benton said they flew the drone to the top of the water tower with the majority of the antennas on, finding no damage to the antennas that could be seen.
