Hutmacher is appointed to town board, water certificate is presented

Robin Hutmacher was appointed to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Holly Reis on the Oacoma Town Board. Hutmacher recited her oath of office on Monday, July 6, in Meeting Room #1 of the community center in Oacoma.

Robin Hutmacher took her oath of office to fill the vacancy left by previous board member, Holly Reis. Hutmacher will assume Reis’ appointment to the committees of police and fire as well.
The second quarter police report was presented by Sergeant Catland Landegent. The sergeant stated 46 case reports in total had been generated in the months of April, May and June. One warning was issued along with seven citations for a total of 13 charges.
Broken down, the citations consisted of one speeding, three without driver’s license, one resisting arrest, two obstructions of law enforcement, one underage consumption, one possession of drug paraphernalia, one possession of marijuana, one possession of a controlled substance and one child neglect.
