Rossow retires from GF&P after 30 years of service

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my career. It has its ups and downs but that’s with everything you do. The upsides definitely outweighed the downsides. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else for a career,” said Steve Rossow.
The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks district supervisor is officially retiring after 30 years of law enforcement and wildlife conservation service. Rossow completed his last day of work on Monday, June 8.
Growing up in Mobridge, Rossow was instilled with a passion for the outdoors from his family. His introduction to the Game, Fish and Parks occurred early, working as a seasonal laborer during summer months.
