The 2020 Kimball High School coronation was held Monday, Sept. 14, at the Kiote Kanyon of Kimball School. Auburn Pulse and Kaden Tyrrell served as the masters of ceremonies. Crown bearers were George Assman and Irelynn Korzan. Introductions were provided by coaches and advisors for student council, cross country, volleyball, football and cheerleaders. A senior homecoming video was previewed and members of the Kimball High School Band, under the direction of Daniele Geis performed.
Brenda Smith was announced as the parade marshal. The 2020 king and queen were crowned by 2019 Queen Ellie Overweg. The 2019 king, Caden Lenz was not present. Gift and flower presenters were Hunter Janish and Brook Nolz. Bennett Namanny, left, was crowned king and Sidney McCord, queen. Other candidates were Kennedy Leiferman and Alison Sinclair, queen and Warren Soulek and Brady Westendorf, king. The burning of the “K” followed the coronation ceremonies.
