Dr. Justin Zajic prepares for role as superintendent

Dr. Justin Zajic, the new superintendent of the Chamberlain School District, will officially begin his role on July 1; following the completion of Dr. Deb Johnson’s tenure.
A native of Marshall, MN, and current principal of Mitchell Middle School, Dr. Zajic brings over a decade of teaching and administrative experience from all levels of academia.
“I’ve been a middle school teacher and a college professor at Dakota Wesleyan University (of Mitchell) for a few years,” he began. “The last six years I have spent as the Mitchell Middle School principal. During that time, I finished my doctorate at USD (University of South Dakota at Vermillion).”
