Board president recognizes retiring and incoming superintendents

Chamberlain School Board President Keith Reuer, right, presented retiring superintendent, Dr. Debbie Johnson with an engraved letter opener during the board of education’s regular meeting on Monday, June 22, at the middle/high school library in Chamberlain. Superintendent Dr. Johnson’s official last day will be June 30. The engraving read, “Dr. Debra Johnson, Chamberlain School District Superintendent, 2010-2020; Principal, 1997-2010; Teacher, 1989-1993.

Board of Education President Keith Reuer recognized Superintendent Dr. Debbie Johnson, outgoing administrator and new Superintendent Dr. Justin Zajic when members of the board of education for Chamberlain School District #7-1 met Monday, June 22, at the middle/high school library in Chamberlain.
Board President Reuer also presented Superintendent Dr. Johnson with an engraved letter opener as a token of the district’s appreciation for her years of service.
The financial reports were presented by Business Manager Michelle Willrodt. She stated there were no changes in the Trust and Agency report and due to the start of the summer months, there was no food service report.
