Marlee Nolz was appointed to fill a one-year term on the board of education for Kimball School District #7-2. She replaced Brent Leiferman, who elected not to run. Nolz read her oath of office, which was administered by Business Manager Eileen Kroupa.

Marlee Nolz was appointed to the board of education for Kimball School District #7-2 when the board met Monday, July 13, in Room 116, the middle school science room in Kimball.
Conflicts of interest were announced for Principal/Activities Director Matt Dykstra with his wife, Tacey Dykstra in the school system; Board Member Lee Pulse, whose wife, Nicole Pulse, works for the school system and Board Member Megan Miller, whose husband, Bryson Miller, owns a heating and cooling business that handles district matters.
Under good news, Middle/High School Principal Dykstra recognized Chuck Blasius and Kelly McGregor, custodians at the school, for their work throughout the summer months in getting the school ready for the upcoming year. “They have handled the craziness of making sure everything is sanitized,” stated the middle/high school principal.
