A Welcome Traffic Jam
Apr 8, 2020

Due to the restrictions of social distancing in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, the streets of Kimball came alive on Saturday night, April 4, with a “whip down Main Street.” It wasn’t just one “whip down Main” but multiple ones. Families and friends jumped in their vehicles, top photo, and maneuvered throughout town, smiling and waving at each other and even at some of the residents who sat outside their houses to watch the parade. An assortment of vehicles could be found with even a motorcycle joining the parade. Dayre Evans, top photo, back, was excited to be “back out in the public again” and couldn’t wait to have
his picture taken as driver, Crystal Soulek made her way down Main Street. Additional cruises are planned for each Saturday.
