Graveside services for Wesley E. Ohlrogge, 69, of Pukwana, SD, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Riverview Cemetery of Chamberlain, SD.
Wesley E. Ohlrogge died May 29, 2020, at his home in Pukwana, SD.
Wesley E. Ohlrogge was born June 23, 1950, at Chamberlain, SD, to Alma (Kiehn) and Albert Ohlrogge.
He attended school at Chamberlain, SD, and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1968.
In 1972, Wes was united in marriage to Shelli Swinson. Together, they made their home in Pukwana, SD.
In 1976, they took over operations of the family farm and that has remained their home ever since.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of 47 years, Shelli Ohlrogge of Pukwana, SD; two sons, Chad Ohlrogge of Sioux Falls, SD, and Brian Ohlrogge and wife, Natalie of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren, Brandon, Sophia, Cade, Alyssa and Chase; three brothers, Duane Ohlrogge of Lake Norden, SD, Ray Ohlrogge of Woonsocket, SD, and Larry Ohlrogge of Arizona; a sister, Linda Schoepp of Watertown, SD, and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alma Ohlrogge; two brothers, Albert “Bud” Ohlrogge and Delos Ohlrogge and three sisters, Norma Timmons, Pat McGhee and Judy Taylor.
Hickey Funeral Chapel of Chamberlain, SD, will be in charge of arrangements.
