Graveside services for Wesley D. “Shep” Fire Cloud, Jr., 38, of Big Bend, SD, were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at the Howe Family Cemetery of Big Bend, SD.
Wesley D. “Shep” Fire Cloud, Jr. entered the spirit world on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Avera McKennan Hospital of Sioux Falls, SD.
Wesley D. “Shep” Fire Cloud, Jr. was born Aug. 10, 1981, at St. Mary’s Hospital of Pierre, SD, to Janice (Louis) Howe-Adrian and Wesley Fire Cloud, Sr.
He graduated from Crow Creek High School of Stephan, SD, in 2001.
Shep enjoyed listening to and downloading music.
He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own.
He spent the remainder of his life in Big Bend, SD.
Everyone who knew Shep knew he was a diehard Steelers fan and enjoyed watching football.
He loved visiting with people and making them smile by joking around.
He will be remembered mostly for his smile and humor.
Shep will be greatly missed and loved by all those he knew and all those who knew him.
Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Kylis and Karter Fire Cloud and Daniel Fire Cloud; sisters, Darice Fire Cloud, Larice Fire Cloud, Erin Yellow Robe, Lucila Adrian and Quincee Grassrope; brothers, Ervin
Yellow Robe, Jr. and Charlie Fire Cloud and parents, Wesley Fire Cloud, Sr. and Janice Howe-Adrian.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John, Sr. and Cynthia (Iron Road) Howe; an uncle, John Howe, Jr.; his grandfather, Edward Howe, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Edward, Sr. and Rose (Sargeant)
Howe and great grandparents, Milo and Ethel (Greybull) Ironroad, Emma Fire Cloud and Mable Keeble-Onihan.
Luze Funeral Home of Highmore, SD, was in charge of arrangements.
