There will be no funeral services held for Matthew Corwin Shroyer, 42, of Chamberlain, SD.
Matthew Corwin Shroyer died July 31, 2020, after a battle with cancer.
Matthew Corwin Shroyer was born July 12, 1978, at Chamberlain, SD.
He attended school in Lyman County of South Dakota with elementary in Reliance, SD, middle school in Kennebec,
SD, and high school in Presho, SD.
Matt participated in football and basketball in high school.
He was able to continue to enjoy his favorite activity – basketball, by playing at open gyms and joining the city hall league.
Besides playing basketball and buying basketball shoes, Matt enjoyed playing video games with his daughter, Aurora.
He had tried his hand at landscaping and construction but found his talent as a cook.
Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Mary Shroyer; daughters, Aurora Wright and Olivia Shroyer; brothers, Marty Shroyer and wife, Paula and Dooley Shroyer and wife, Pam; sisters, Simone Shroyer and Phil
Hall and Jaci Holzwarth and husband, Todd and a special friend, Codi Pomani.
He was preceded in death by his best friend and father, Dan Shroyer and his grandparents, Cliff and Viola Shroyer and Duane and Evelyn Parish.
