Funeral services for Heath Wayne Heth, 40, of Fort Thompson, SD, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Fort Thompson, SD.
Wake services were held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, and Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Fort Thompson, SD.
Burial was at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery of Stephan, SD.
Heath Wayne Heth journeyed to the Spirit World at 5:09 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2020, at Chamberlain, SD.
Heath Wayne Heth was born Aug. 27, 1980, to Delores (McBride) Sazue and Keith Heth.
He attended grade school and high school at Crow Creek Tribal Schools of Fort Thompson, SD, and Stephan, SD.
Heath was a fun, outgoing person and had one of the best personalities everyone loved.
In 2003, he met the love of his life, Vanna Brown and moved to Rapid City, SD, in 2006 with her. Soon after, he started working for Sprinkler Guys. He worked there for eight years before moving home.
In 2014, he worked for Crow Creek Housing for several years until the job ended.
Heath loved hanging out with his friends, throwing horseshoes and working on cars.
Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Delores Sazue; four brothers, Sean Sazue, Robert Heth, Keith Heth, Jr. and Shane Sazue, Sr.; two sisters, Kim Heth and Shara Sazue; two nieces, Seanda Sazue and Josephine Sazue; four nephews, Shane Sazue, Jr., Clarence Sazue, William “Son” Sazue and Wakiyan Sazue; grandson, Jermaine Sazue; a very special friend, Wanda Wind and a grandson, Josiah “Marshmallow” Sazue. He also loved his Hunka family, Royce and Virginia Howe, Cary Ross, Clifford
Metcalf, Jr. and the Brown family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Slow; an uncle, Charles McBride; Aunty Glenda Gravatt; his father, William Sazue and a niece, Krista Sazue.
Hickey Funeral Chapel of Chamberlain, SD, was in charge of arrangements.
