Carol Concetta Walti

​A celebration of life for Carol Concetta Walti, 79, of Mitchell, SD, was held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at the Legion Hall in White Lake, SD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date in Watertown, NY.
Carol Concetta Walti peacefully joined her loved ones in heaven on Feb. 4, 2020, surrounded by the love and grace of family and friends in Mitchell, SD.
Carol Concetta Walti was born Dec. 8, 1940, at Watertown, NY, to Frank and Estella (Sypher) Greco.
She was the fifth of eight children.
Carol filled the lives of loved ones with beauty, joy and goodness.
Nothing brought her greater joy than being Grandma Carol to her six grandchildren.
Her words of wisdom to everyone she met, “Play nice with others,” will fill their hearts forever.
Carol had a true zest for life and shared her love and knowledge with everyone she met.
She spent her life serving and supporting others.
Carol spent the majority of her life in Upstate New York. She spent ten years in South Dakota and most recently lived life to the fullest in Hudson, Florida.
Grateful for having shared her life are her three children, Charles Walti and wife, Martha of Alexandria Bay, NY, Kim Ehlers and husband, John of White Lake, SD, and Brian Walti of Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren,
Stacey, Austin, Zachary, Emilie, Gates and Josiah; a brother, Guy Greco and wife, Pat; sisters, Fran King, Mary Barcomb, Louise Durante and husband, John, Sheila Branche and husband, Chuck and Sharon Redden and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Estella Greco and a brother, Richard Greco.
Bittner Funeral Chapel of Mitchell, SD, was in charge of arrangements.
