Mayor of Idaho Falls commends first response teams

Jan. 6, at the council chambers of the city offices in Chamberlain. The plaques contained proclamations from the mayor of Idaho Falls in response to an airplane crash on Nov. 30 in Brule County that took the lives of nine family members and injuring three others. The Idaho Falls mayor commended all those who responded to the plane crash and those who continue to assist with the tragedy.

Members of the Chamberlain City Commission met Monday, Jan. 6, in the council chambers of the city offices in Chamberlain.
A period was assigned for public comment of which none was taken.
Mayor Chad Mutziger asked Brule County Sheriff Darrell Miller, Chamberlain/Oacoma Fire Department Chief Kurt Kelsey and Chamberlain Police Chief Jason Handel to attend the council meeting to present them proclamations from the mayor of Idaho Falls in response to the airplane crash that occurred Nov. 30 in Brule County, taking the lives of nine family members and injuring three others.
