Board discusses court services, highway matters

Members of the board of Brule County Commissioners met Tuesday, March 3, in the commissioners’room of the Brule County Courthouse in Chamberlain.
A period for public comments was held with none being taken.
Ryan Van Genderen met with the board at the request of court services asking if they can move forward with the teller window in their office. They were successful in getting a security grant to remodel their office. Chairman James Nesladek said the grant monies were approved at a recent meeting but construction is on hold until office space in the courthouse is finalized.
